You can make a difference in the place where you live by becoming one of the people who make decisions every day. If you don’t feel represented, maybe now’s the time for you to put your hand up for, or get elected to, a decision-making role at a school, club, committee, board, local council, state or federal government.

This is a practical, encouraging and gently irreverent how-to guide if you want to overcome your (understandable) internal uncertainties, work out whether the decision-making role you’re considering will work for you, and design and manage an election campaign that feels good (even if you’re an introvert).
