Every year the CBCA awards affirm the quality of some of Australia’s most creative people and enable them to devote time to creating engaging literature for the nation’s younger readers.
This year the awards are being held in Hobart, and we’re lucky enough to have some of the shortlisted authors along for a morning of readings and high adventure!
Readings will commence shortly after our monthly Children’s Reading Chair event, which starts at 10am. Then we’ll have stories from:

11am: Wendy Orr
11.30am: Karen Foxlee
